Easter 2006!

Easter morning at bible class!

Jolie & Makinze at church! They were both so cute in their Easter bonnets & dresses!

On the hunt for eggs!

Mak, Jordan, & Dylan with their eggs! It was so hot outside...look at their red faces!

Dyl & Mak eating snow cones after a hot Easter egg hunt!

Dylan's 4th Birthday

Mak & the birthday boy!

Dylan's cake...I made it for him! It was lots of fun.

Makinze insisted on wearing a dress--I tried to talk her into capris & tennis shoes for the sports themed party...but no, she wanted to look "cutie"! She did a great job in the sports obstacle course. First she ran and slid down the slide, shot & made a basket, kicked a soccer goal, kicked a football goal & finally back to the finish line! Here she is at the start with Tommy, Dylan's daddy!

Makinze kicking the football through the human goal posts! Great job in flip flops!

Riding the battery powered dirt bike!

Bowling Birthday!

Makinze's celebrated her 4th Birthday at the bowling alley in Cushing! We had a great time. Bowling was such a great party--all ages were able to enjoy the fun. We are so blessed to have such great friends and family. Our little "fool" enjoyed her afternoon fun! Here is a picture of Hunter helping her out. She got a little tired and Hunter was a great encourager!

Maguire had a "kicking" good time bowling! Of all of the bowlers...I would say that she was the most excited. She would run up to me after each frame and tell me that she won! I loved it!

Morgan...

Maguire & Makinze. They have been friends since they were babies. Notice Mak's cute My Little Pony T-shirt! This was the only picture I think was taken showing that it says, "Happy 4th Birthday Makinze!" (Thanks Shannon!) Also--check out the cool bowling shoes!

Blowing out the candles!

I know it doesn't look like present chaos but it was... Poor Holly was writing like a mad woman to keep up with Mak & Friends tearing open presents!

Opening more presents!

Making Cake

Makinze helped a lot this year with her birthday cake. She did a great job mixing the icing and cake! When I was a child my Grandma Francille ALWAYS made our birthday cakes. They were so beautiful and tasted absolutely wonderful. A great thing I remember is getting to help decorate the cake. Thanks Grandma for passing on this love...although mine aren't as pretty as her cakes...it still is fun! I hope that Mak enjoys this as much as I do!

Practicing her decorative icing!

Mak strategically placed the ponies on her cake! I was surprised to see that she did alternate colors.
