Guest Reader
Makinze had been practicing reading the book, Hug. So she came and read it to my class. She stood on my desk so that everyone could see the pictures!
I have the second time through recorded and have been trying to post it, but for some reason it hasn't worked yet.

Santa visits Pre-K
Apparently Santa & his reindeer needed a place to crash for the night...and chose Makinze's classroom. They had a great time while they were there--and didn't even pick up their mess. They had a pepsi party, christmas spelling bee, reindeer bowling...and left their droppings and hoof prints EVERYWHERE! What a great surprise that he left presents for everyone too!

Santa
After watching Huston's basketball game against Yale we rushed to Meemaw's work to see Santa. Asher & Jolie met us there! Afterward my made me pose by the tree for pictures...of course my Gracie had to be there too!
Nutcracker
Jolie performed in the Nutcracker Ballet early December. Makinze loved it~and Jolie did a super job! The top pictures are of her in her complete outfit that she wore to the ballet!
Uncle James
This was taken Thanksgiving night at Nana's. Makinze and Uncle James were taking care of Baby Annabelle.
Thanksgiving Day
At GG & Great Gma's. Makinze loves to cook, so of course she helped Meemaw in preparing the food. My cousins from Odessa were in too! Mak decided that Meemaw's lap was much more comfortable than her chair~

Gracie
The weekend before Makinze had tubes put in she got a kitten from a rescue center (located in PetCo) in Stillwater. Her name is Gracie Lou. She is the sweetest kitty & loves Makinze SO MUCH. She actually let Mak give her a cold bath...without a meow or scratch!
Rob came over to YES to do a presentation to my class about being a storm spotter. While he was there the Pre-K class came out to see the command post too! It was a surprise to Mak. Her teacher, Mrs. Kathy is in the orange & brown striped shirt! 
Every year we make a trip to the pumpkin patch with the Clark family! This year was no exception! Thanks Shannon for the great shirts!
Fall Fest at PCOC 2007
This was the first year that Makinze actually "Trick or Treated"--and she only went to Marla's across the street from ours. She is still asking why momma won't let her trick or treat strangers houses?! First of all--we don't have time with Fall Fest at PCOC! We had a great time at Fall Festival. Here she is with Dylan (ninga turtle, Trent--red, and Grandpa!) Grandpa always comes and hangs out with us on Halloween! We had a fun night!
1st Bus Ride
Another plus of Pre-K is riding the bus! Here she is riding the bus to the HS to Dylan's mom, Heather. She loves the bus so much! Oh, how that will change with time!
I Ain't in...
Makinze had tubes put in again in November. A few days later Grandpa treated us to a limo ride to Tulsa & dinner at Fleming’s in Utica Square before the Carrie Underwood concert (Thanks Uncle Jeff & Aunt Christy for the tickets!) in celebration of Lindsay's birthday. Makinze was a real Princess that night!
Makinze loved the concert, and sang along with her favorite songs--Before he cheats and I Ain't in Checotah.
