Rodolpho's

Wednesday we went and celebrated Grandmother's birthday! Makinze played the claw & won 4 prizes (three at one time!). Here she is on Grandpa's lap...rotten little girl!

Mak & Dusty (my cousin). He gave her quarters to play the games that we were sitting by~her new found best buddy! She still loves Sheree (his fiance') the best though!

Twin Day

Ok, so we were triplets! Miss Robin bribed Mak with candy to take this picture! She wasn't too happy that she looked just like momma today...Mrs. Kathy said she didn't want to be a nerd in Pre-K! We wore our VBS shirts from this summer and I was brave enough to fix my hair like Mak's! Isn't homecoming week fun?!
PJ Day

This week has been football homecoming at Yale! We have been dressing up every day! Mak & Katelynne show off their pjs!

Great Friends

Friday evening we went over to eat at Chanc, Holly, Finn & Sutton's house! The Wheelers were also there with us & we had a great time.
Nap Time
Another joy of Makinze's day is nap time! Here she is snuggling up with her blanket & pillow that I made for her before school started! She loves them...and now has to sleep with some type of animal everyday for nappers.

Payne County Fair

We had a fun night Thursday with Grandpa at the fair. We hung out at ROb's booth (Stw. Emer. Mgmt) and visited with Aunt Virginia (United Country) and Dustin & Sheree (Mueggenborg Auctioneers) until Gpa got there to ride rides. Makinze loved getting to see so many of her friends on the midway! It was a lot of fun. Her favorite ride was the tilt-a-whirl & she said the ferris wheel was boring...oh what do we have to come?
Makinze, Grandpa, & Tyler (from Pre-K)!

Picking up ducks. I had just gotten kicked off the ski ball game after only spending one token and winning her this adorable Melman giraffe! They only let you win one this year--makes me so sad! I love that game!
Yale Fire Visits YES!
Another perk of being right there...I heard the fire truck & during my plan went down to see that the fire truck was there for the Pre-K & K classes! Too cool! I rushed & got the camera and we posed for a quick picture. Makinze was a little frightened of the fire truck & men...she said she didn't like all those clothes they had on--who knows!?!

Class Pet
Ok, well for one day... Mrs. Kathy found two baby kittens out in the barn & brought them with her to feed during the day. The class loved having them there---especially pet lover Makinze. She loves cats and dogs so much! Here she is with Garrett (left) and Cole on the right with the babies!

Tumbling
This summer Mak took tumbling
during the final 6 week summer session. She loved it. She is actually learning to do cartwheels and can almost get over! When we asked her about fall dance she told me that she just wanted to go the big room (aka tumbling room). So, we'll be doing two classes this year to start and see how we do having so much going on...she really likes it though! Miss Laura is helping her with her form--she leads left--her daddy is so proud!
