Makinze's Mom

Although Makinze & I would love to go along with Melody & Donna on their "adventure"...we have created an adventure for ourselves! We have been marking up the map with where Melody and Donna are on their adventure. Makinze and I are learning so much about SW Oklahoma...and now I really want to visit the Frederick area! WOW! They just returned from Santa Fe, NM and hopefully we too will get to visit some of the places they did on our trip to Red River this summer!

Makinze loves the map & is learning so much about directions, towns, cities, and metropolotian areas! Not to mention all of the landforms as well.

Yesterday, I was blessed with being able to go to Woodward with Melody to watch her present A Digital Adventure of the Abernathy Brothers for the NW Regional State Superintendant Conference. It was wonderful! Also, Melody's sister, Mary was a presenter as well. It was so nice to meet you, Mary! She did a fabulous presentation about the use of books in your classroom...and she was SO FANCY! Thanks to the Flynn's for letting Makinze play for the day! Good friends are such a blessing.
